Sewing is a skill that lasts a lifetime.
In this club your child will explore the different stitches the machine has to offer and practice a variety of sewing techniques as well as reading patterns and following instructions through set group projects according to difficulty, interest and pace of the group. The young sewists will produce a variety of different kid- friendly projects each lasting between 2-4 sessions.
Sewing promotes problem solving, math, hand-eye-coordination, patience, discipline, self confidence, creativity, reading and comprehension. This club offers only a small number of participants to enable lots of individual attention.
