Sewing is a skill that lasts a lifetime.

In this weekly club your teen will be making more complex projects such as accessories and first simple garments using commercial patterns as well as learning to hack, mend, up-cycle, copy and alter their own clothes.

Students will learn how to take measurements, use a size chart, understand pattern language, make adaptations, hack, choose the right fabric, sew different seams, hems and assemble a variety of different garments,with pockets, zips, facings and bindings. Use of sewing machines and overlockers are included.

Classes are held from our fully equipped sewing studio

Number of students : small class size LIMITED TO 4

LEVEL : Must have completed our beginners course, or already know how to sew and be familiar using a sewing machine machine.

Fabrics are not included and are purchased by students. ( a list will be sent out upon registration)

Any extra notions needed such as elastics, interfacing, snaps or straps can be purchased @ Naver couture and billed at the end of term.

Classes are not reimbursed or rescheduled in case of absence.
