Sewing is a skill that lasts a lifetime.
In this club your teen will be making more complex projects such as accessories and first simple garments using commercial patterns as well as learning to mend, up-cycle, copy and alter their own clothes.

Students will learn how to take measurements, use a size chart, understand patterns, make adaptations, hack, choose the right fabric, sew different seams, hems and assemble a variety of different garments, with pockets, zips, facings and bindings. Use of sewing machines included.
